Anton Santer, priest in Marling, is appointed to the princely town parish of Meran and Tirol. The report also details the journey of the imperial family, including the young Archdukes Franz Joseph, Ferdinand Max, and Karl Ludwig, through the Vinschgau, alongside their charitable donations.
In July 1824, Archduke Franz Karl visited Merano, the Passeier Valley, and Castle Tyrol. In St. Leonhard, the royal guest met the family of Andreas Hofer, executed in 1810, as well as his former comrades-in-arms. The journey was marked by festive receptions by the civic guard, Landesschützen, and local authorities.
In August 1823, Crown Prince Archduke Ferdinand visited the town of Merano and the surrounding villages of the Burggrafenamt and Vinschgau. The population welcomed the royal guest with illuminations, triumphal arches, and parades of Schützen and schoolchildren. During his stay, the Crown Prince visited the Passeier Valley, Schloss Tirol, the Partschins waterfall, and the construction site of the new Stelvio Pass road.
In late July 1823, Crown Prince Archduke Ferdinand visited the city of Bozen during his tour of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. In addition to receptions, audiences, and an excursion to Haselburg Castle, he visited the church in Gries, the Gugler dye works, as well as local schools and administrative offices.
