The provincial governorship has approved a state-funded engineering project for the regulation of the Adige River near Sigmundskron. The measure is tied to the construction of a new bridge and is intended to prevent the waterlogging of adjacent farmland.

Bozen. As the regulation of the Adige River above and below Sigmundskron is highly desirable not only for agricultural and sanitary reasons, but is also closely connected with the already approved construction of a permanent bridge near Sigmundskron, which falls to the treasury, the high provincial governorship, upon the motion of the esteemed building director Kink, has granted that the project for the intended regulation be drawn up at treasury expense by the Bozen district building office; this regulation will be of outstanding benefit to the Neufelder, which, since the drainage ditch there has lost its flow, are gradually beginning to turn into marshland. — The municipal magistrate was informed of this decree.
