Frankfurt, 24 Aug. This morning, the solemn induction of the new clergyman for our Catholic parish, Mr. Beda Weber, took place here. The induction was conducted by the clergyman appointed for this purpose by the bishop, Schütz from Elfeld, with an excellent speech, after which Mr. Beda Weber delivered an address to the numerous assembled congregation, concluding with an appeal to pray also for the fatherland and its preservation. The Bishop of Limburg, who was expected for the ceremony, was prevented from attending in person. (D. Z.)
