Archduke Johann's Transit Through Innsbruck
Archduke Johann arrived in Innsbruck from Meran, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel v. Froßsard. Following a brief stay at the inn zur goldenen Sonne, he continued his journey toward Salzburg.

Innsbruck, 14 July. On the 12th of this month, at half past ten in the morning, His Imperial and Royal Highness the most serene Archduke Johann, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel v. Froßsard and arriving from Meran, arrived here, took up his quarters at the inn zur goldenen Sonne, and continued his journey to Salzburg at 3 o'clock this morning.

Military Command Thanks the Merano Magistrate for a Donation
On the occasion of the Emperor's birthday, the municipal magistrate of Merano donated wine and bread to the local garrison. The military command in Innsbruck formally expressed its thanks and reported the patriotic gesture to higher authorities.
