New Year's Charity Concert at the Bolzano Theatre

On New Year's Day 1832, a society of amateur musicians held a charity concert at the Bolzano theatre for the benefit of the local poor. Conducted by Mr Brenner, the performance featured soloists Gasser on the flute and Schwarz on the violin. Together with the proceeds from the New Year greeting-card exemptions, over 523 guilders were raised for the municipal charity institute.

Troop movement of the Argenteau Infantry Regiment in Bozen

A report from Bozen informs about the passage of two battalions of the Imperial-Royal Infantry Regiment Argenteau heading towards Trent and South Tyrol. Alongside the exemplary conduct of the troops, the outstanding performance of the regiment's musicians is highlighted, who delighted the public with performances in the theatre and during a high mass.
