Report on the ceremonial establishment of the Imperial-Royal District Court in Lana following the dissolution of the patrimonial courts of Lana and Ulten. The inauguration of District Judge Johann Georg Aigner was marked by a church service, speeches, a banquet, and target shooting.
The Landgericht Lana announces the public auction of the Kränzlgut estate in Tscherms as well as associated and adjacent land parcels belonging to the descendants of Count von Stahlburg. The auction will take place in Lana on December 10, 1823, with a starting price of 13,500 Rhenish florins. The edict outlines the properties, water rights, manorial dues, and detailed purchasing conditions.
On May 28, 1819, a severe cloudburst caused extensive damage in Tscherms near Lana. In addition to devastated vineyards and flooded stables and cellars, the local church was deeply buried under debris. The financial damage to the small village is substantial.
