Prof. Beda Weber is leaving Meran to take up the post of city parish priest in Frankfurt am Main. The correspondence pays tribute to his years of service on the Passer and extends warm wishes for his new duties.

Meran, 31 May. Prof. Beda Weber has indeed accepted the position of city parish priest in Frankfurt am Main and will depart there in the coming days. Needless to say, a man like Prof. Weber will be sorely missed in our town; he will always remain fondly remembered here and throughout our region, where he worked with such great blessing for so many years, and heartfelt wishes for his success in his new, certainly arduous position accompany him from the Passer to the ancient Free Imperial City on the Main.
