Lease Auction of the Toll and Inn Building at Töll

The Imperial-Royal District Court of Meran hereby publicly announces that on the 29th of the current month of September at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the main excise office building at Töll, with which a real innkeeper's privilege is now associated providing convenient refreshment for carters and travelers, will be auctioned on site for lease for six years, i.e. from September 1 of this year until November 1, 1852, at an annual rent of 300 fl. standard currency.

Included in this rent is also a wet and dry tithe to be collected in Plars in the municipality of Algund, which according to calculations for the past ten years yields on average annually 45½ Eimer of pressed wine, 6 Star of rye, ½ Star of barley, 1½ Star of maize, ¼ Star of hemp seed, and about 5 hundredweight of straw.

The lessee must provide a cash deposit of 500 fl. standard currency, and the movables, wine vessels, etc., located in the inn will be appraised for him; the remaining conditions may be inspected here during regular office hours.

It is additionally noted that the above-mentioned inn building is situated only 1¼ hours from Meran on the elevation of the new road leading toward Vinschgau, frequented by numerous travelers and transport wagons, in a very healthy and airy area.
