Proceeds of New Year Exemption Cards for the Poor Relief Fund in the Bozen District

Bozen. The charitable custom introduced some time ago of purchasing greeting-exemption cards for the benefit of the local poor relief fund instead of paying New Year visits has yielded the following proceeds this year in the district of the Bozen Kreishauptmannschaft:
a. In the town of Bozen: 253 fl. 33 kr.
b. In the town of Meran: 33 fl. 48 kr.
c. In the parish of Mais: 32 fl. 9 kr.
d. In the locality of Schlanders: 21 fl. 26 kr.
e. In the town of Klausen: 17 fl. 12 kr.
f. In the market town of Kaltern through
an organized subscription instead of purchasing
the greeting-exemption cards, whereby the active
influence of the esteemed Dean Eberle, as well as
that of the District Court, and the lively charitable
spirit of the community are not to be overlooked, besides 141
Stara of grain and 3 Yhren of wine, also the very
significant cash amount of 1274 fl. 6 kr.
total 1632 fl. 14 kr.
For this, public thanks are hereby extended to the noble benefactors.
