Call for Applications for a Painter and Gilder in Meran
Following the death of the painter Anton Klappeer, the Meran town magistrate issues an open call for a new painter skilled in oil painting, interior painting, and gilding. Applicants must submit proof of their professional qualifications and good conduct by the end of July 1826.

Following the death of the painter Anton Klappeer, the local municipal community requires the admission of a new painter skilled in oil and room painting, as well as gilding work.
Anyone wishing to settle here in this capacity must provide proof of ability and moral conduct to the local magistrate by the end of July of this year at the latest.
