Investigations into the Ancient Portals at Tirol Castle and Zenoburg

The Meran civil engineer Johann Jordan submits new, precise drawings of the portals of Tirol Castle and Zenoburg to the Ferdinandeum. Through a structural analysis, he argues that the portals are assemblages of fragments from different periods rather than a unified figurative program.
