Meran, 1 June. (Contributed.) Allow us to append a supplement to your report on Netzer's concert. Among the names of the participating dilettantes, that of the singer Fräulein Fanny Kink, who took part with equal readiness and equal, general encouraging recognition, was omitted. She performed the aforementioned song "Aus der Ferne" in the second part, in which Frau Lentner, designated by your report as having performed it, was not engaged at all. Likewise, the oboist, Herr Blaas from Schlanders, remained unmentioned.
If your correspondent rightly speaks of the perils of public appearances for ladies, he will certainly concede that these are no less great in critical endeavors, should the latter give cause for an interpretation that could just as easily be deemed an innocent, unwelcome oversight—as we assume in our case—as an unsettling intentionality.

Alongside these major festivities, public life was shaped by religious events such as the popular mission in Partschins and social initiatives, including the opening of a childcare facility and charitable foundations.
