Plans for the Establishment of a Higher Gymnasium in Bozen
In Bozen, initiatives to establish a higher gymnasium are under way, with financial shares and donations already being collected. However, there are calls among the public for a clear institutional programme to ensure that special factional interests are not guiding the project, which is also suspected of similar efforts in Brixen and Meran.

Bozen, 14 January. Here, the plan to establish a higher gymnasium is being pursued. Shares are already being subscribed to purchase a building, alongside voluntary contributions toward the remuneration of the teaching staff. Regarding the more specific arrangements, a formal programme is missing, which is all the more desired from many sides as the public, or at least its more cautious portion, wishes to ascertain whether the idea of said educational institution merits the active support of the entire citizenry in terms of its scope, faculty, the calibre of its founding and directing figures, and in every other respect, or whether only a faction driven by specific private interests is active here, whose efforts, as has been heard, also aim at the uniform establishment of similar gymnasiums in Brixen and Meran.
