Public Tender for Roadworks on the Vinschgau Postal Road

Notice of Construction Auction.

By high gubernatorial decree of the 9th of this month, No. 816, communicated by the esteemed Imperial-Royal Provincial Building Directorate on the 6th of this month, No. 686, the laying of foundation paving and graveling along several sections of the Vintschgau post road was approved for execution by way of public reverse auction.

These paving works pertain to the Schlanders road district, specifically:

Between No. 20¼ and 20½, outside the village of Rabland in the Raßau, over a length of 130 Klafter.

Between No. 20½ and 20¾, over a length of 190 Klafter.

Between No. 21¼ and 21¾, near the Ortler in the Felrohrer Moos, over a length of 60 Klafter.

Between 22 and 22¾, between Lahnbüchl and the village of Naturns, over a length of 189 Klafter.

Between No. 25 and 26, above and below the so-called Tscharschersteg, 350 Klafter in length; according to the varying widths of these five sections, the total work comprises 2948 square Klafter, for which the baseline price has been set at 2292 fl. 531/3 kr. C. M. W. W.

The auction proceedings will take place at the Imperial-Royal District and Criminal Investigation Court in Meran on April 10 of this year, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon; interested contractors are informed that the terms and conditions for this tender may be inspected at the esteemed District Court during regular office hours eight days prior to the auction.
