Charity Proceeds from New Year Exemption Cards in Tyrolean Towns
Reports from Brixen and Botzen on the proceeds from this year's New Year exemption cards in aid of the urban and rural poor. Alongside Botzen, Meran and Klausen also recorded charitable donations.

Brixen, 4 Jan. Charity in support of the poor of the town of Brixen has proven itself once again. Through the exemption cards, 127 fl. 40 kr. were collected; likewise, in the rural municipalities of the judicial district, the local poor were supported with 30 fl. 29 kr. For which the poor relief associations concerned express their most sincere thanks.
Botzen, 7 Jan. The proceeds from this year's New Year exemption cards amounted in Botzen to 279 fl. 39 kr.; in Meran to 101 fl. 2½ kr. and in Klausen to 23 fl.; in total 403 fl. 41½ kr. R. W.
