Reports on Wolf Hunts and a Fatal Fire
Short news items from Tyrol reporting the killing of wolves near Ala, Marling, and Schlanders in January 1831. A fatal farmhouse fire in the judicial district of Kufstein is also noted.

In the course of the past month, a wolf was killed by Luigi Leonandi near Ala and another by Joseph Gamper near Marling.
On the 6th of this month, Peter Tscholl from Obergaden in the judicial district of Schlanders succeeded in killing a she-wolf.
On the 1st of this month, the house of Joseph Embacher in Habring, in the judicial district of Kufstein, burned down. The farmer, who ventured into the house too many times to salvage his belongings, died in the flames.

Charity Concert at the Bozen Theatre
A society of amateur musicians held a musical concert at the Bozen theatre in aid of the local charitable institution. The net proceeds of 220 florins will benefit impoverished sick residents.
