Plans for the Establishment of a Higher Gymnasium in Merano

The Catholic constitutional association in Merano is campaigning to establish a higher gymnasium in the town. To avoid burdening the provincial treasury, the abbey of Marienberg has offered to staff the teaching chairs with Benedictines free of charge.
