In February 1825, the Emperor's birthday is celebrated in Bolzano with official festivities including a solemn high mass, parades by the Kaiserjäger corps, and cannon salutes. The day concludes in the evening with the performance of a specially composed festive song and a theatrical play. The entire proceeds from these events are donated to the local poor relief fund.
