Elevation profiles at the Brenner Pass for a planned railway line
The board of the Geognostic-Mining Association for Tyrol and Vorarlberg presents detailed barometric and geognostic surveys for a railway route from Rosenheim via the Brenner to Verona. The four sections in the Inn, Wipp, Eisack, and Etsch valleys are analyzed with regard to gradients, geological conditions, and construction obstacles such as gorges and floodplains.
