New Historical Publications on Tyrol
A report on forthcoming and recently published historical and popular works concerning Tyrol, including contributions by Professor Flir, Father A. Scherer, and Beda Weber. The publications are welcomed as a sign of renewed Tyrolean historical consciousness.

Austria.
Innsbruck, 23 December. A short work by Professor Flir, entitled "The Manharters," an important and highly interesting contribution to Tyrolean history, will soon leave the press. – Furthermore, a "Geography and History of Tyrol, a Reading Book for the Patriotic Youth," by the Benedictine of Fiecht, Mr A. Scherer, is to appear shortly. — An edition of a history of Tyrol for the people is being prepared for print by another capable hand. If we add to these the two already published works by Beda Weber on Passeier and the Sandwirth, and by Mayr on the Man of Rinn — both excellent works — every friend of the fatherland must feel the greatest joy at this new stir of the Tyrolean spirit and Tyrolean consciousness.
