Opening of the Bad Egart Baths near Tel
Aloys Ladurner, innkeeper at the Golden Cross in Merano, announces the opening of both the renovated old and newly built Bad Egart baths near Tel by 14 June 1824. The establishment offers sulphur baths, accommodations suited for higher social classes, and catering at reasonable prices.

The undersigned has the honour to inform the high nobility and respected public that both the old, fully renovated, and the newly constructed Egart bathhouse near Tel will be opened by 14 June of this year. As the building company has taken sufficient care to provide good accommodation and comfort for the guests, especially for persons of higher standing, he will not fail to serve the esteemed bathers with attentive willingness and punctuality, order and cleanliness, and to cater them with good food and beverages at reasonable prices, in order to best support the beneficial effects of these sulphur baths in this beautiful and healthy environment. He therefore flatters himself to be honoured with a numerous visit.
