Chronicle

June 1833

Overview
In June 1833, hunters in the judicial district of Schlanders in the Vinschgau valley achieved a significant success against predators. A hunter from Martell killed a female bear and her three cubs in the Laserthal, mitigating the long-standing damage caused by wolves, bears, and vultures to grazing livestock.
